Developments of Regional Impact
Applications: LDI’s professionals are very familiar with Florida Statutes regulations regarding Developments of Regional Impact (DRIs) and have been involved in all aspects of processing them. We have successfully undertaken the extensive task of preparing Applications for Development Approval (ADA), as well as amendments known as either nonsubstantial changes or Notices of Proposed Changes (NOPC).
Development Review: We have also functioned as adjunct staff for jurisdictions and assisted with the development review of DRIs, including preparation of staff reports and coordination to help developers through the process.
Facilitation: The most unique involvement we have had with the DRI process is functioning as a pre-application DRI facilitator for the East Central Florida Regional Planning Council. Our professionals have been hired repeatedly to assist with facilitation of site tours and workshops to assist developers in the presentation of their proposed preliminary plans to agencies to receive comments prior to initiating the complete application process.
